Homshuk Mexican Kitchen & Bar – Pork Belly Tacos Worth Discovering in the South Metro

I’m always excited to stumble across a spot I haven’t tried before—and Homshuk Mexican Kitchen & Bar was a recent (and delicious) discovery. Whether it’s truly new or just new to me, one thing’s for sure: I’ll be back.

I ordered their pork belly tacos, and they were a totally different take from the crispy fried style I’ve had elsewhere (shoutout to Bravi’s). These were soft, succulent, and fall-apart tender, full of rich, slow-cooked flavor. The pork practically melts in your mouth, and they don’t hold back on portions—each taco is generously overstuffed, in the best way.

One of my favorite parts? All the extra pork and toppings that fall out as you eat—perfect for scooping up with the rice and beans that come on the side. It turns into a bonus bite every time.

At $14 for three tacos plus sides, this is a fantastic deal, especially when you consider the quality and quantity you’re getting. Honestly, these are some of the best tacos I’ve had in the south metro lately. Flavorful, hearty, and deeply satisfying.
