I stopped in for lunch at Brackett’s Country Club in Lakeville, and while I wasn’t expecting a standout taco experience, their chicken tacos seriously impressed me.

What set these apart? It’s all in the thoughtful details. The tacos featured thin-sliced green apple, which added a refreshing crunch and just the right touch of brightness to balance the savory chicken. That pop of sweetness and acidity really brought everything together.

They also double-stacked the corn tortillas, which gave them the structural integrity you need when there’s a good mix of wet and dry toppings. No taco blowouts here—just clean, satisfying bites from start to finish.

These tacos are clearly made with golfers in mind. Light, flavorful, and energizing, it’s the kind of meal where you can polish off three and still feel good about walking another 18 holes. Enjoying them with a view of the green just made the whole experience even better.
